Each of the wines from the 1865 line comes from its own selected vineyard planted with a specific variety. Each "single vineyard" is carefully managed in accordance with the conditions of its grape variety, soil and climate -or terroir- to produce wines with consistently unique personalities and quality.

1865 Sauvignon Blanc comes from our vineyards in the Leyda Valley, 15 km from the Pacific Ocean. The direct maritime influence moderates summer temperatures and keep average highs at 24 °C. Continuous sea breezes help extend the ripening period, ensuring that the grapes have intense fruit expression and remarkable mineral notes. French clone 242 vines planted on granitic soil deliver highly elegant wines with excellent varietal typicity.
