Origin: This wine comes from the finest vineyards. Viña San Pedro counts with in the valleys of Elqui, Casablanca and Leyda, which have a strong maritime influence, due to their proximity to the Pacific Ocean. This location grants a very fresh climate, ideal for the show maturation of the grapes that give birth to this wine. This year, the Elqui Valley dominates, developing a very typical and expressive character. The vines are vertically trellised and drip irrigated. Vinification: Directly pressed. Alcoholic fermentation carried out with selected yeasts and controlled temperatures between 14 and 15° C. Made under a completely reductive process. Color: Very young, clean and brilliant pale greenish-yellow. Aroma: Presents a great personality, very intense and fresh aromas, blending notes of exotic fruits, fresh grass and tomato leafs, with subtle touches of citric fruits, such as lemon and maracuja. Palate: This wine stands out for its identity and freshness, interlacing vegetal and fruit flavors, with a very pronounced –but balanced and mineral– acidity and good volume that lead to a long finish. Serving Suggestion: Ideal to enjoy as an aperitif, and with fish and shellfish.
